Used to – o’tgan zamonda
odatga aylanib qolgan, lekin vaqtinchalik to’xtatilgan yoki umuman
to’xtatilgan, hozirda yuz bermayotgan harakatlarni tasvirlashda ishlatiladi. Shuningdek, o’tgan
zamonda o’z o’rniga ega bo’lgan, lekin, keyinchalik mavjud bo’lmagan holatlarni
ham ifodalashda qo’llaniladi.

Would
used to kabi o’tgan zamonda takrorlanib kelgan ish-harakatlar va
vaziyatlarni ifodalashda ishlatiladi. Biroq, mavjud bo’lgan bir martalik
vaziyat haqida so’z borganda used to ishlatiladi. Masalan: She would usually be happy when she returned home after a long trip

ko’rsatkichlari bilan birga ishlatiladi: in
1956, last year, last week, on Sunday, at seven o'clock.
They arrived at the airport at 5 o'clock. — Ular soat 5 da ayeroportga
yetib kelishdi
When I was a child I played tennis — Bolaligimda tennis
o’ynaganman.
